BA in Mathematics (0718)    This program is directed toward a specific career goal for computer related government, industrial or business employment and offers a language requirement. It may also provide a basis for entry into graduate school in mathematics or computer science.

newBS in Applied Mathematics (0719)    The undergraduate program in Applied Mathematics has been designed to meet the specialized personnel requirements of modern industry, commerce, and education. Program graduates will be well qualified for pursuing higher degrees in applied mathematics, operations research, computer science, statistics, bioinformatics, actuarial science, engineering, natural sciences, life sciences, behavioral sciences, economics, business, industrial management, and others.

BS in Mathematics with Adolescence Certification(7-12)    This program is for Students seeking certification after February 2004. This degree  is directed to a career goal of teaching. This program includes the course requirements leading to the new New York State certification in grades 7-12.

BS in Mathematics with  Adolescence Certification (5-12)    This program is for Students seeking certification after February 2004. This program includes the course requirements leading to New York State certification in grades 5-12.



Elementary Education Concentration. For Elementary Education Majors whose content area is mathematics and are only seeking Elementary Education B-6 certification.

Elementary Education Certification Extension K-9. For Elementary Education Majors whose content area is mathematics and wish to add mathematics certification K-9 in addition to Elementary Education B-6.
