1. Read the handouts from class on cooperative learning. Be prepared to discuss what (a) you understand about the fundamental differences between group work and cooperative learning and (b) questions you have regarding the role assessment plays in effective cooperative learning.  Be prepared to turn in 1 - 2  pages about the fundamental differences between group work and cooperative learning.

2. Complete the two pattern activities (pentagon perimeters and dots) handed out in class.
