1. Please complete Exeter problem set #3. Do this prior to reading the chapter in the second part of this assignment.

2. A classic work in the field of mathematical problem solving is titled How to Solve It and was written in 1945 by George Polya. His suggestions and methodology still influence our approach today as I think you'll recognize. The linked version of Chapter 1 has an introduction by Ian Stewart that is also a pleasure to read- enjoy!
