Bourdain's 'weirdly wonderful'
Buffalo
Anthony Bourdain, host of “No Reservations” on the Travel Channel, has
seen the world. Guess which northeastern city has earned a place in his
heart?
In an interview with DCist, a blog based in the nation’s capital,
Bourdain said his view of those of us who live somewhere in New York
other than Manhattan has evolved in the past 10 years. He said he
particularly likes Buffalo.
“Now I see it as a very distinct personality, a very distinct culture
with its own architecture, its own kinda feel,” he said. “It’s,
actually, a weirdly wonderful place. Even in winter. I think it took me
traveling around the world to get to that point.”
Buffalo: Weirdly wonderful. It kind of works.
