Reading and Video Assignment #16
1. Read pages 161-163 from Section 3.1 on the product and quotient
rules, the antiderivative of ln(x), and the derivatives of the
remaining trig functions. Almost everything discussed in these pages
you will need to commit to memory.
2. Watch the Kahn Academy videos on the Product Rule, Chain Rule
(coming in section 3.2), Quotient Rule (section 3.1) and the
derivative of the tangent function (section 3.1).
You will notice that along with the videos that I've assigned there
are Kahn Academy problems that you can try to see if you understand
the video. If you haven't tried these yet, this chapter might be a
good place to start. There are several provided for the product rule
and the quotient rule.
