MATH 122
Attendance:
There
are only 40 classes and you are expected to attend every class.
Quizzes and Exams cannot be made up (Exams only with a physician’s note). In
the event of an absence you should contact a classmate to discuss the material
covered and assignments prior to the next class. More than 4 absences will
result in your final grade being lowered one letter grade. ( The physician’s
note only allows you to make up an exam. Your absence still counts towards the
4 allowed.)
Students with disabilities:
If you
have a diagnosed physical disability, learning disability, or psychological
disability which will make it difficult for you to carry out the course work or
which requires accommodations such as assistance from note takers and/or
readers, extended time on assignments, and so on, please advise the instructor
during the first week of the course so that we may discuss possible
arrangements for reasonable accommodations.
Classroom Etiquette:
Please
turn off cell phones so as not to interrupt the environment in the classroom,
similarly, you are expected to arrive on time for every class. Expect it to
take time to park and adjust your schedule accordingly.
